Questions before the call
Short answers. Anything else, ask on the intro call or write to Info@hilltopsolargroup.com.
We can’t justify a full-time executive. Is this for us?
That is who it’s built for. It’s a fractional senior seat, sized to your stage, on a monthly retainer instead of a full-time salary.
How does the success fee work?
Alongside the monthly retainer, a success fee is tied to closed deals or financing, so Hilltop is paid when you win. The terms are set per client on the call.
What does the intro call cost?
Nothing. It’s free and takes 30 minutes. You pick a time, then answer four quick questions so the call starts with context.
Do you work with homeowners?
No. We work with solar companies, and with businesses and non-profits evaluating solar. If you’re looking at solar for your own home, we’re not the right fit, and we’d rather tell you that up front.
Our installer already ran the numbers. Why an independent evaluation?
An independent view has no stake in the sale. We look at site conditions and project economics and tell you whether it pencils, whoever ends up building it.
We get commercial leads we can’t get to. Can we hand them off?
Yes. Residential installers can hand off commercial projects they lack the time or capacity to pursue, and Hilltop develops them. Referral terms are set per partner on the call.
Who will we actually work with?
Samuel Hill, directly. Hilltop is one senior operator, not a firm: 12 years of U.S. solar business development, from green-tech startups to public solar companies.
What areas do you work in?
Samuel’s work has spanned more than 40 states and island nations, across residential, commercial, community solar and utility-scale projects. Tell us where your projects are when you book.
